In celebration of the 40th year of The Mapperley Park Residents’ Association. The Lace Market Theatre are organising a special treat for residents this summer: an open Air Theatre Production exclusive to Mapperley Park Residents on Sunday 18th June.
The Lace Market Theatre is putting on a special open air theatre production just for us! Mapperley Park resident, Lesley Brown, who is a Board Member at the Lace Market Theatre, is putting together the show for us (show title to be confirmed). This exciting event will be FREE OF CHARGE to residents and will be a lovely summer afternoon/early evening occasion for all ages.
The Nottinghamshire Hospice on Woodborough Road, have very kindly agreed to let us use their beautiful gardens to stage the event. Indeed, their grounds provide the perfect natural auditorium with gently sloping lawns down to the flat stage area. The hospice will also organise refreshments for sale on the day, but feel free to bring a picnic if you prefer. Remember to pack a blanket to sit on!
Save the date in your diaries – Sunday June 18th. The event will start at 4pm and the show will end at approximately 6pm. It also happens to be Father’s Day, and will be a lovely way to celebrate with the dad of the household! You will also have lots of time to take him to dinner afterwards…
Keep an eye out for the leaflets with full details nearer the time.
See you there!!
